Turkey and Australia discussed ways to carry Gallipoli heritage to next generations

Turkish Ambassador in Australia Korhan Karakoc during his visit to Victoria Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Robin Scott, Assistant Treasurer & Minister for Veterans.

Both sides discussed various ways to further improve bilateral friendly ties.

“The main focus of our meeting was to determine the ways of conveying our Gallipoli heritage to next generations”, Turkish Ambassador tweeted.

After taking charge of Turkish Ambassador in Canberra three months ago, Ambassador Korhan Karakoc is first time visiting Victoria to interact with Turkish community, businessmen and political leadership.

On Monday, Turkish Ambassador Korhan Karakoç visited number of Turkish businessmen in Melbourne. His first stop was the company of Kahvecioğlu. He also visited Australia’s leading company in the marble sector, Attila’s Natural Stone & Tiles Company, Turkish Bread and Star Aluminium and European Prestige Car Care.
