Saudi Arabia and Australia reaffirmed friendly ties

Saudi Arabia and Australia have expressed their satisfaction on the friendly relations between the two regional powers.

Mesaad Ibrahim A. Al Sulaim, Saudi Ambassador to Australia attended the luncheon hosted by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on the occasion of Australia’s National Day in Canberra.

According to a statement by Saudi Embassy on Thursday, Ambassador Mesaad Ibrahim exchanged friendly conversations with Prime Minister Morrison and congratulate him on this occasion, wishing Australia more Progress and prosperity.

Australia and Saudi Arabia enjoy a friendly relationship and have well-established cooperation in countering terrorism.

As Australia’s second largest market in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia is an important trading partner for Australia.

Ambassador Mesaad Ibrahim also hold a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Kurhan Garakić at his office at the embassy on Wednesday.
Both sides discussed issues of common interest and cooperation between both embassies in Canberra.
