One person has died and two people have been trapped, after a rock slide and the collapse of a walking track in the NSW Blue Mountains.
At least one of those trapped has serious injuries following the incident at Wentworth Falls National Park on Wednesday morning, NSW Ambulance said.
Nine ambulances with a special team of paramedics, two ambulance helicopters are trying currently to help the injured at the site.
SBS News understands the walking track has been closed due to dangers posed by falling rocks for some months.
