New Ambassador of Belgium Mr. Michel Goffin Monday assumes his diplomatic mission as an Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia following presenting his Letter of Credence to Sir Peter Gosgrove AK MC (Retd) Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia at the Government House.
Meagen Baldwin, wife of the Ambassador Goffin and Mr Arnaud Dusaucy, Deputy Head of Mission, Royal Belgian Embassy; were also accompanied the Ambassador.
Upon arrival at Government House, Ambassador Michel Goffin was presented guard of honour as well.
Governor-General Sir Peter Gosgrove greeted the new Ambassador of Belgium and emphasized the close and friendly ties between the two countries.
