The Governor-General of Australia David Hurley and Mrs Hurley on Wednesday welcomed Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand, to Government House.
Thailand is a close and valued friend of Australia and the Governor-General has a personal connection – having attended the Royal Military College – Duntroon, with His Majesty, the King of Thailand from 1972-1975.
During the meeting, Governor-General and Princess Sirindhorn discussed friendly ties between Australia and Thailand and expressed mutual desire to further strengthen them.
After the royal meeting, General David Hurley, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Australia Led His Highness to observe the surrounding area.
