French Consul General called on Gladys Berejiklian: bilateral cooperation reviewed

Consul General of France in Sydney Ms Anna Boillon Tuesday paid a courtesy call to the Gladys Berejiklian, the Premier of New South Wales in Sydney.

France enjoys excellent relations with NSW in all domains as France and Australia are strategic partners.

During the meeting both sides exchanged ideas on many areas of France-Australia cooperation.

Premier and Consul General especially reviewed cooperation in areas of transportation & infrastructures, art & culture, bilingual French-language education projects in NSW.

It is worth mentioning that Australian Minister for Defence Industry, Melissa Price is visiting France this week where she will meet the workforce from Defence and Naval Group who are working together in Cherbourg to deliver Australia’s Future Submarine Program.

The Program will deliver a fleet of 12 Attack Class submarines with a cost of $50 billion.
