Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the Commonwealth of Australia, Mr Tsegab Kebebew Daka has assumed his responsibilities after he presented his credentials to the Governor General David Hurley AC DSC (Red) in an elaborate ceremony held on the grounds of Government House on August 16, 2022.
After the successful ceremony of presenting the letter of appointment, there has been a brief discussion with the Governor General.
Ethiopean ambassador said that he will work hard to strengthen the long term relationship between Ethiopia and Australia, fulfill the responsibilities given by the government and promote the relationship to a higher level.
His excellency the governor general has also participated in the well-wishing ceremony for the ambassadors who submitted their appointment letters.
Earlier, upon arrival at Government House, the Ethiopean ambassador was presented a guard of honour as well.
Ethiopean ambassador also attended a lunch hosted by the Governor General for Heads of Mission who presented their credentials on that day.
