Polish Ambassador visits South Australia for forging close ties

To establish strong ties Ambassador of Poland Michał Kołodziejski paid his first official visit to South Australia last week.

The aim of the visit was to establish contacts with state authorities and business community as well as meet representatives of the Polish community in South Australia, said a statement from Polish embassy in Canberra.

The program of the visit included courtesy calls on key South Australian politicians, including the ieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia; Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia; Andrew McLachlan CSC MLC, President of the Legislative Council; the Hon Vincent Tarzia MP, Speaker of the House of Assembly; the Hon David Ridgway MLC, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, as well as meetings with business community.

In Dom Polski Centre in Adelaide the Ambassador met with representatives of the Polish community in South Australia and presented official decorations awarded by the President of Poland.
